The Seating Area

As you enter the gate you are led to a small seating area, which is an elegant fusion of classic and contemporary, with a raised wooden platform and cozy chairs. The look and feel is unlike a usual salon, and clearly demarcates us from the rest. The red wall surrounded by decorative plants has a lion head and one cant help but smile at the sight of water trickling from the lion’s mouth. The metal Buddha bust, the soothing sound of the gushing water and the flooring of the soft bed of white sea stones adds to the tranquil feeling that one gets as they walk into Hakim’s Aalim.

The Reception

Walk in through the glass door, and you are greeted by the warm hello of the receptionist. The large plasma screen continuously playing hair styling videos bang in the middle of the room is a constant reminder that we eat, speak and breath HAIR! A cozy couch on one side beckons to you to have a seat, but its barely given a chance as you are whisked away by your stylist, into the world of Hakim’s Aalim.

The Main Salon

There are ten work stations for your personal entertainment, each one with their own personal mini television screen and DVD player. The backwash area has it’s own TV screens positioned in a way so you don’t miss out on your favorite programme while your hair is being washed. While Aalim or his team of stylists give you a new look you can enjoy a movie or news or a cartoon and sip on one of our delicious mocktails!

In-house DJ

The first of its kind, the in-house DJ is a unique concept that amazes clients, young and old alike. Walk into Hakim’s Aalim and you can request for your favorite songs as you get your hair styled! Be its relaxing music to soothe you or some rock or hip hop, we’ve got it all.

Tattoo Booth

If you prefer expressing your attitude through tattoos, we also have ‘Dash’ the tattoo booth, where you can get the best of tattoos you will ever find. Be it permanent or temporary tattoos, piercings or accessories, this is where you will find them all.
